Care Monitor is revolutionary and unique - linking the latest patented sensor technology, audit trail and automatic alarms into one proactive system. Bed Sensor

The core of the system is the long life bed sensor. The patented sensor creates a low frequency, low power electromagnetic field and uses digital signal processing techniques to detect bed occupancy and the level of movement. Made from the same PU material as bed covers commonly used in the care and nursing home sector, it is waterproof, breathable and flexible. It does not wear out and can simply be wiped clean. Monitoring in-bed movement, the sensor draws attention to possible ill health or falls.

Door Sensor

The door sensor has been specially engineered to separately recognise door entry and door exit. Any unusual exit pattern, for example during the night, will alert carers to potential wandering and help prevent physical problems from arising.

Inco Sensor

LifeSys has also developed a new way of detecting enuresis with a new sensor, made from the same fabrics as most bed pads. Capable of detecting even small amounts of moisture, early alerts protect your residents from bed sores and the discomfort of lying wet in bed.

Central Controller

The sensors communicate alerts to a Central Controller, through which all alarm settings are also maintained. Designed by carers to be easy-to-use, the Central Controller allows settings to be quickly reviewed and changed to meet the individual needs of residents. Alerts are sent directly to staff via pagers or if required Care Monitor can be connected to existing call alarm systems.
